Kayleigh joined as a class teacher having spent time teaching in London and internationally. Since then she has held a number of leadership positions within the school. Whilst at Whitefield, Kayleigh gained a Masters in Special Educational Needs and the National Professional Qualification for Middle Leaders.

Trevor Button
Trevor Button joined Whitefield School in September 2023 from Beacon Business Innovation Hub – an Alternative Provisions Free School in Ilford where he was Principal for four years. Under his leadership, the school has seen significant improvement in all areas including achieving Ofsted Good in 2019. With 20 years’ experience in education, Trevor has considerable expertise in specialist education and has played a pivotal role in securing stronger outcomes for students. Trevor started his teaching career after studying History at degree level and completing his MA in Politics. He trained as a teacher at Greenwich University and started teaching in 2003-04. Throughout Trevor's career he has always shown determination, drive and commitment to children and young people with different abilities and needs.

Laura joined Whitefield in September 2023, coming from Rhodes Wood Hospital School as Deputy Head Teacher. Bringing over 10 years' experience in education, in addition to several years specialising in Family Law, Laura has a range of experience in collaborative working to ensure the very best provision and outcomes for young people. Throughout Laura's career she has enjoyed supporting a range of children and families and will continue this as Vice Principal of Margaret Brearley School.

Zuzanna Gromska
In September 2023, Zuzanna Gromska joined Whitefield School after working as the Assistant Headteacher at Lime Trust for four years. Notably, during her employment, Zuzanna played a pivotal role in enhancing the school's Safeguarding culture, a significant achievement recognised by Ofsted.
Zuzanna has now 11 years of invaluable experience in the realm of special education. She possesses a wealth of expertise in catering to the unique needs of SEN learners. Her educational journey began with a background in Economics at the master's level, but she later embarked on a fulfilling teaching career, obtaining her QTS and subsequently completing her master's degree in SEN.
Throughout her career, Zuzanna has consistently exhibited dedication and passion for the betterment of children and young people. The above driven her continuous professional development, fostering close collaborations with North Carolina University and her involvement in past TEACCH projects, further underscoring her commitment to enhancing the educational experience for all.

Philip AgbozoAssistant Principal
Philip Agbozo
Philip studied to qualify as an SEN teacher (QTS), he held middle- leadership positions as a curriculum lead in ICT and as a KS3 manager. Philip is currently an Assistant Principal of the Rebecca Goodman Centre which is part of the Whitefield Academy Trust.
Philip holds a BSc in Agriculture, a Post Graduate Certificate in Professional Studies in Education and a Masters in Special Educational Needs.

Janet started as Family Support Manager in September 2023. Previously she was Manager and SENCO with safeguarding responsibilities at Handsworth Pre-School. Janet worked in early years for 12 years and is early years qualified. Before then, she worked in education policy in local and national government. Janet is committed to supporting children, families and parents as they progress through their learning years.
