Volunteering

At Whitefield School, we are very fortunate to welcome fantastic volunteers who give up their time to work alongside our teams.

In addition to helping out in the classroom and on school trips, our volunteers draw on their own skills and talents (e.g. artistic, musical, and sport) to enrich the experience of our pupils.  Our volunteers are valued members of our school community and we are very grateful for the contribution they make to our schools.

As well as welcoming volunteers from our local community, we offer placements for those looking to gain experience of working with children and young people with SEND.

If you would like to volunteer with us, please get in touch.  Volunteers need to be aged 18 or over.  We will ask you to provide two references and have a DBS check.  All volunteers are supervised and you will not be expected to undertake any task for which you have not been trained.
